  1. Application – Review Process
Our team carefully reviews each application based on qualifications, experience, and alignment with the role. Here’s what you can expect:
  2. Aptitude Test
Shortlisted candidates are invited to complete an assessment that evaluates:
  • Analytical and numerical reasoning
  • Writing and communication skills
  • Emotional intelligence
  • Understanding of investment banking concepts
This helps us gauge both technical ability and soft skills relevant to our work.
  1. Interviews I & II
Candidates who pass the assessment will proceed to two rounds of interviews:
  • Interview I Candidates who perform well on the test are invited to the first round of interviews, typically conducted by a senior analyst. This conversation focuses on your background, motivation, and technical knowledge.
  • Interview II Provided the first interview is successful, candidates will be invited to a second round with members of the management team. This stage focuses on strategic thinking, cultural fit, and your potential contributions to MICC.
  1. Offer
After a comprehensive evaluation, we will notify all candidates of their final application status. Successful applicants will receive a formal offer to join MICC.

We recommend reviewing recent developments in capital markets, especially in Mongolia, and brushing up on basic financial concepts. Be prepared to discuss your past experiences, problem-solving approach, and how you align with MICC’s values.

While timelines may vary by position, most processes take between 2–4 weeks from application to final decision. We are committed to keeping candidates informed throughout.

We value candidates who are analytical, proactive, and detail-oriented. Strong communication skills, a growth mindset, and a genuine interest in capital markets and financial services are key traits we look for across all roles.

While many roles benefit from a background in finance, economics, or business, we welcome applications from individuals with diverse academic and professional experiences—especially if you have strong analytical, research, or problem-solving skills.

Due to the high volume of applications, we are not always able to provide individualized feedback. However, we strive to notify all applicants of their status as promptly as possible.
